Nihan Sahin M.D.

Dr. Nihan leads the medical approach of LIVE LONG as an Internal Medicine Specialist.

She graduated from Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine in 2016 and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at GATA Haydarpaşa. Throughout her clinical practice of more than 10 years, she has evaluated health not merely through isolated complaints, but as a dynamic system in which metabolism, inflammation, hormonal balance, sleep, stress response, and energy production are interconnected.

In her specialization thesis, she focused on the effects of intermittent fasting on cardiovascular health and metabolic balance, which is considered one of the key topics in the longevity approach today.

Dr. Nihan completed her foundational training in functional medicine within The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and utilizes this approach as a holistic framework that supports evidence-based internal medicine practice. From this perspective, she evaluates the relationships between metabolic health, gut health, hormonal balance, energy metabolism, and cardiometabolic systems.

Her certified competence in family counseling allows her to incorporate stress load, sleep rhythm, eating behaviors, daily life routines, and environmental effects on the nervous system into her assessments.

LIVE LONG

At LIVE LONG, these layers merge within a single clinical system. This approach is structured not merely as an application-oriented wellness perspective, but as a data-driven, personalized, and trackable health system built with medical intelligence.

The process is built upon comprehensive assessment, personalized planning, and regular follow-up. Blood tests, biometric measurements, lifestyle evaluations, and deemed appropriate supportive practices are interpreted together to create personalized follow-up plans.

For Dr. Nihan, health is not simply the absence of disease. It represents mental clarity, sustainable energy, metabolic balance, recovery capacity, and long-term quality of life.

The approach of LIVE LONG is to transform health from being a field addressed only when a problem arises into a health process that is regularly monitored, supported, and managed for the long term.
